What makes our double floor storage space so special.
You can never have enough storage space in a motorhome. That’s why storage capacity is a top priority when developing our Carthago motorhomes. However, more than 45 years’ experience of motorhome construction shows that volume alone isn’t the only thing affecting optimum practicality. Ease of access for loading and unloading is just as important, as is protection from frost, especially if you want to travel in comfort. The unique Carthago double floor storage space offers all this. And speaking of comfort – our double floor storage space is deigned to be fully heated. So it protects your belongings against frost and simultaneously provides heat storage. As a particularly pleasant side effect, this also creates a comfortable underfloor heating effect.

The amazing garage with loading height extension of up to 124 cm in our queen-size bed models.
We think that a rear garage that cannot accommodate a large bike or pedelec isn’t a proper rear garage. So this isn’t a problem even in our queen-size bed models. And this is how it works: swivel the rear bed up from the outside with a single manual operation, park the bike in the garage and lower the rear bed again. The Carthago trick: a recess in the floor accommodates the bike. Finally, securely lash everything down – and you’re done. And handlebar heights of up to 124 cm are easily possible in combination with the swing-up bottom edge of the bed. Inside, the bed is still easily accessible at all times thanks to the low position. Another example of our many great Carthago ideas. And because it is so good, we immediately had it patented.
