The IVECO Daily chassis with dual tyres makes our Carthago motorhomes masters of self-sufficiency. After all, it’s always good to know that you can travel safely while remaining fully functional, even off the beaten track. But thanks to its manoeuvrability and outstanding comfort, the IVECO Daily chassis also delivers exceptional performance in urban settings. Versatility that you wouldn’t normally expect of vehicles that are around 10 metres long.
The familiar ladder frame used in the commercial vehicle sector also makes these motorhomes sturdy powerhouses. Thanks to its superior load-bearing and payload capacities, the IVECO chassis is particularly suitable for large bodies and heavy motorhomes, thereby making our IVECO models in the Carthago liner premium class incredibly comfortable.

system.
A real plus in terms of safety and comfort.
Rear axle, combined with an adaptive, electronically controlled suspension system on all wheels (front & rear axle). The system, which has been developed by ZF, has a central control unit which adapts the characteristic curves for the shock absorbers to the driving situation within milliseconds. This reduces vibration by about 25% and lateral tilting by more than 30% in comparison to previous chassis systems. Here, the driver can choose from three driving modes.
Air-Pro is specifically geared for the unique requirements of a motorhome to provide a significant increase in safety and driving pleasure. As well as improving handling performance, the air suspension on the rear axle can be used to raise and lower the vehicle while it is stationary, e.g. to facilitate loading and unloading or to level off the vehicle on a sloped parking space. These positions can even be saved and then retrieved for later use.
Driver assistance systems on the IVECO Daily chassis.

The new IVECO driver assistance systems have significantly improved the vehicle safety of our Carthago chic s-plus and Carthago liner-for-two, which is now at an all-time high. Numerous innovative technologies and state-of-the-art safety systems reliably provide maximum protection, allowing you to fully concentrate on the journey to your dream holiday.
Advanced Emergency Braking Assist with City Brake (AEBS).
Thanks to a combination of camera and sensors, the Advanced Emergency Braking Assist (AEBS) detects potential collisions early and brakes automatically. Accidents at low speeds can therefore be completely avoided and at high speeds significantly reduced.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with traffic jam function.
It can be difficult to remain constantly alert during long motorway journeys. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) helps you with this, using the camera and sensors to maintain a set speed and the desired distance to the vehicle in front. If this slows down, the system automatically reduces your speed to maintain the selected safety buffer. Adaptive Cruise Control therefore reduces the risk of accidents and collisions on motorways. In combination with Advanced Emergency Braking Assist, IVECO technology ensures driver and passenger safety by identifying the appropriate speed and reasonable distance and acting autonomously depending on the situation.
Active Lane Keep Assist with alarm.
Active Lane Keep Assist (LKA) interacts with the electronic steering, helping you stay in lane. The desired distance to the lane markings and the intensity of the warning signal can conveniently be adjusted using the menu guidance.
Tyre pressure sensors.
The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System has been specifically developed for motorhomes. It ensures that the vehicle tyres are adequately inflated by measuring the pressure of each tyre in real time.
The dashboard in the IVECO Daily.
The slightly revamped cab helps keep things organised, thanks to its practical storage including a wireless charging pad and USB ports on the driver and passenger side, as well as slots for your tablet and smartphone. At the same time, the new MyIveco infotainment system guarantees the very best entertainment. The integrated 10-inch display with navigation and motorhome route guidance, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provides all the technology you could possibly need. Everything is rounded off by the new Hi-Matic gear lever with rocker switch for Eco and Power modes and the new steering column with dual adjustment options.
